Hey guys, its been a long time since I wrote a personal post. I have been spending my time on twitter since I got involved with #Occupy Oakland. It is a powerful tool for journalism, but in the end it has not gotten the word out better than blogging. So, here I am again I [...]

Ballet Shoes and Ballerinas as Technology: A History En Pointe – Suzanne Fischer – Technology – The Atlantic
Posted: November 9, 2011 in 2011Laemmli argues that the new shoes forced dancers’ bodies to move in new ways. Dancers on this pointe regimen developed characteristically long, lean leg muscles. Balanchine also encouraged dancers to let the shoes remake their bodies, including developing bunions that gave the foot just the right line. And as their bodies were remade, [...]
Male Beauty in San Francisco, Folsom Street Fair
Posted: September 27, 2011 in 2011Tags: folsom street fair, genderqueer, san francisco, street fashion
Yesterday was the annual Kinkster Festival called Folsom Street Fair. The street style is a very playful way of creating a Public Sphere with experimental genders and open expresion in the Kink tradition. This year I documented a lot of Male Beauty in the form of gayboys, radical metrosexuals and crossdressers. I found an abundance [...]
. It is Free and advertising supported. This magazine is more international than the last. I have left out the words and just present 50 Ethnographic Street Style photos. Internationalisation I am launching the Magazine in all of Apples supported language. So it is in every Itunes App Store everywhere on the planet, listed as [...]
I am very impressed by this discussion about Male Bisexuality. Quiet Riot Girl (QRG) is doing some very important work by creating space to understand Male Sexuality through a post feminist lens. I can’t recommend her work highly enough. The UK is having a complex and Nuanced post-feminist discussion about gender. Think of QRG as [...]
I keep reading and hearing that young English straight boys are kissing each other and putting pictures up on Facebook. To my American ears this sound incredible even in sexually progressive San Francisco. http://rachelrabbitwhite.com/whats-up-with-the-bisexual-double-standard/ According to a study by Eric Anderson of Bath University in England, there are a growing number of college-aged straight men [...]
This British gentleman is named Mark Simpson and he invented the term ‘metrosexual’ in 1994. I just found his blog and discovered that he has all kind of interesting things to say about the male object of desire and what I would call male femininity and what he calls metrosexual. I left a comment of [...]
Paleo-Transsexuals hate on other transsexuals Paleo-MTF’s feel that their genital surgery proves they are women. It is ironic because they have defined body-hatred and self loathing as a proxy for their being ‘true transsexuals’. I argue that self-loathing was insisted upon by the old gender clinics precisely because they though transsexuals were maladapted. Self-loathing was [...]
Male Sexism and Insane Paleo-Feminism run deep in the England | guardian.co.uk
Posted: August 16, 2011 in 2011I am beginning to wonder if Male Sexism is much stronger in Britain than I thought. Could this story about collective sexist humiliation have happened on an American Workplace in the 1990′s? England seems to still be filled with Paleo-Sexists (see the comment thread of any Guardian editorial on gender or feminism). Maybe the English [...]
Paleo-Feminist Mythology Blames Gay Designers for The Emaciated Body Images Of High Fashion #feminism
Posted: August 13, 2011 in 2011Recently a columnist for Britain’s Observer wrote ”It has long been said that fashion is a con-trick by largely gay male designers to make women look more like men: breastless, hipless, as skinny as a boy.” (“Vogue is not a magazine for children”). Patrick Strudwick responds to this hate garbage in Feminists should stop stitching up [...]
seriously evil, post-op transsexual hate crusade against no-op transsexuals, faerie boys and autogynephiles
Posted: August 13, 2011 in 2011Tags: drag acts., gender ambiguity, maggie fox, male feelings, minstrel shows
ts-si.org is becoming a real hate platform for post-op transsexual women who hate being categorized with non-op transsexuals and gender-variant men. Maggie Fox sets up a political platform in this post. She attempts to foment anti-male feelings among women and direct them against non-op transsexuals. That sound like a great platform for the transsexual movement. [...]
Anti-Porn Feminist Julie Bindel writes at the Guardian with typical male-baiting. I left her a comment.
Posted: August 11, 2011 in 2011Jasper’s reply to this I am not really a sports viewer, but I always thought that voyeurism was a big part of the Beach Volleyball phenomenon. It was always a cross between a Beauty Pageant and sport. Perhaps the skimpy bikinis point to a flaw in THIS sport, but like many feminist rants Bindel turns [...]
This little piece of Plato has led been a continual source of gender questioning since it was written two millennia ago
Posted: August 4, 2011 in 2011i highly recommend reading pages 22-26 in this free edition of Plato’s symposium. He gives an early origin myth of human fusing male and female genders. It inspired many christian and jewish heresies of the Androgynous God. Plato and neo-platonism was rediscovered by the Renaissance, Christian Mystics and America’s Transcendentalists. via books.google.com

Printing 40 new cards to leave around Oakland. They are going faster than I can replace them. I have West Oakland fangirls already. Sweet! It took me three years but I found a way to reach beyond the Internet with my Flickr-First Photography. People are complaining that I will not sell my sample magazine prints [...]
